"En tidsmaskin på torget", the largest boulder put in place (6 views – 2007-2008)

The three boulders (24, 30 and 36 tons heavy) included in the installation, were located in a quarry north of Uppsala, in 2007. They were transported on three heavy trailers to a location close to the square under construction, from which they were transported and hauled on to their final sites on the square, in early March 2008. Due to the construction of the square and to the boulder's weight, it wasn't possible to use a mobile crane for the final lifting of the largest boulder. Instead, the giant pontoon crane Lodbrok had to be called in to action, for placing the 36 ton boulder onto its site.
