Professor Sir Joseph Rotblat (1908-2005) was a nuclear physicist and a Nobel peace laureate. He spoke on January 8, 2003, at a conference on nuclear policy and proliferation organised by the Guardian, the Royal United Services Institute for Defence Studies and the US Physicians for Social Responsibility.
